BIO
I was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina. One of my earliest memories is browsing books on the history of painting I found in my parents’ library. I have lived in Barcelona since 2000, and those books are now here with me.
BARCELONA & THE BORN
In Barcelona, and more specifically in the Born area, I reencountered art. Not only as a fascinated spectator, but also as a creator now. All of my teachers’ studios happen to be in this same area. There is definitely something very special about wandering around these streets.
INSPIRATION
Horizons, wide and deserted landscapes are a brand, a stamp in my retina and soul that came with me from Argentina. From my loving grandma and her green thumb comes my passion for plants and flowers. My terrace is well aware of this.
THE STUDIO
Since 2016, I’ve been working in my own studio, which I share with two talented artists. Within the broad universe of printmaking, I usually prefer the more pictorial techniques. Every printed work is unique, impossible to replicate. Oftentimes I wonder, Am I printmaking, or painting?
